Today is the day of the world's best city, its birthday.

Kyiv proudly rises above Dnipro hills for more than 1 500 years. Ancient churches, green parks, palaces and monuments, picturesque Podil and aristocratic Lypky, magnificent Khreschatyk and modern districts on the left bank of Dnipro - all that is our own city founded long-long time ago by 3 brothers and their sister.

Kyiv is the capital of our state. It has become the very image of Ukraine - cause it persevered and survived in the darkest times of war and enemy invasions. It will survive and now, during russian attacks, with sounds of air raid alerts. Kyivans will also survive, showing their iron invincibility and strong will to win. And finally blue peaceful sky and peaceful sun will highlight the ancient Dnipro hills.
